Questions sellers ask
Should I count weekends in my processing time?
Only if you work them. Etsy processing time is usually in business days, so this calculator only counts the days you choose under "Days you ship packages".
Why add a safety buffer?
Holiday order volume spikes, supplies run out, and post offices get backed up. One extra day protects your reviews: a gift that arrives December 26 is a one-star review waiting to happen.
What should I do after the deadline?
Keep selling — just be honest. Update your announcement to say new orders ship after the holidays, offer digital gift cards or downloads, or offer an upgraded-shipping option for a few extra days.
