What this checker does — and doesn't
It checks the hard limits Etsy enforces — a 140-character title, up to 13 tags, 20 characters each — and the common ways sellers waste them: empty tag slots, the same tag twice, single-word tags where a phrase would match more searches, and keyword stuffing in the title.
It also flags titles longer than about 15 words, following Etsy's guidance to keep titles readable.
This tool checks structure, not search volume or ranking. It can't tell you which phrases buyers search most — but it makes sure none of your 13 tag slots or 140 characters go to waste.
